For our latest resort collection, we’ve journeyed back in time to Elsie de Wolfe’s July 1939 Bal Cirque at Villa Trianon. Considered the last of the great parties of the era and presided over by the pre-eminent society hostess, it was an evening of unmatched opulence with a a parade of Lipizzaner horses in jewelled harnesses, circus entertainers in every corner and a who’s who of attendees, all sipping on champagne and ‘Pink Lady’ cocktails. Our Plume and Boudoir feather motifs recall the carnival-like atmosphere of the occasion. Whether they’re adorning our Amaya robe or livening up our Casablanca pyjama, they’re primed to dazzle behind closed doors.
