Our wardrobe is made to treasure. Olivia von Halle was launched with just one style, the ‘Lila’, that was so meticulously considered that it remains our best-seller to this day. This ethos still informs all our design and product development, and the attention to detail lavished on our product is what creates our conscious brand of glamour.
Mindful Design
We only make products we truly believe in. Olivia von Halle is about focusing on a few key styles and elevating them. It’s about putting conscious effort, passion and care into these oft-forgotten about pieces, to create a new type of mindful luxury so that the end product is one that you will want to treasure and take care of forever.
Fabric First
We specialise in a small number of fabrics, which affords us greater control over where they are coming from and how they are made. 100% of our products contain silk, an ancient, natural fibre. The quality and weight of our silk has always set our products apart. Unlike other brands, we make all our own fabrics, dye to order and screen-print our own hand drawn motifs. We also work with cashmere, using an heritage knitting technique to blend it with our silk, making for a butter-soft hand-feel and impossibly luxurious drape.
A Labour of Love
Olivia von Halle does not cut corners and we invest huge amounts of time honing our product. Our iconic Missy silk-cashmere tracksuit spent two years in development; a design process that other brands may view as lost time or lost revenue. But to us, the product isn’t finished until every last detail has been perfected.
The Devil is in the Detail
We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and go the extra mile to make the product the best it can possibly be. This value underpins all our choices in both design and production - it’s what makes our pieces recognisably OvH and is the reason we choose mother of pearl for our buttons and real pearls over plastic ones.
Better Than Black Friday
We keep our product runs small and create only what is needed. We don’t routinely discount and do not allow for discounting in our product margins. Because there is a price for perfection.
